Autumn Table Setting With CAA, Bouclair & Indigo
Hi Everyone! The fall season is upon us and I could not be more excited! I love to decorate and host dinner parties full of comfort food, pumpkin spice and all of the fall tones. I wanted to start with a very simple colour pallet. I am a sucker for neutral colours and I knew I could create something special with alot of layering. The table-scape started with a woven Round Straw Placemat that I found at Bouclair. I loved the braided warmth around the edge and the white centre. Next I added with Indigo’s OUI Organic Stone Dinner Plates. They have a pottery look to them and I love how they had the lip detail around the edge. The medium size was the perfect (I’m not a fan when a plate is too small or too large).
I also wanted to bring some more wood tones into the table setting. I made sure to add these Indigo OUI Two Toned Wooden Napkin Rings that have a walnut finish. They are chic, solid and add the perfect amount of warmth. I love to add some more pattern, so these linen white and grey striped napkins were the perfect touch. I wanted to add some more colour without it being too bold. These OUI Amber Coupes from Indigo with the rust colour glass add some elegance and class to the table. I love to fill these up with my favourite Brut champagne!
I didn’t want to clutter the table too much and I wanted to add a centre piece. I added some greenery by laying some foraged greens to the middle of the table. I also added some walnuts that I picked from my Nonno’s garden to add more of a organic look. I love these two Ceramic Pears that I found at Bouclar. I like how they are two different sizes and are very simple but add a fall feel without it being too colourful.
I am all about the lighting when hosting a dinner party and I believe that no table is complete without candle light. These Bouclair Wood Candle Holders were the perfect pick. They have more of a modern look to them and totally finishing off the look.
The table is set! Here are 5 of my favourite tips when hosting your guests:
Make sure you have a good soundtrack to play. I love jazz music or what I like to call “dinner music”
Always chill your wine and champagne before hand and set up a little bar area complete with an ice bucket
Light candles and make sure you create cozy lighting
Have appetizers out for when your guests arrive
Take time to relax and enjoy the moment with your loved ones
